College of Arts & Sciences
A liberal arts education provides a solid foundation for a wide range of career choices. And a liberal arts education from Piedmont University’s College of Arts & Sciences will empower you to grow beyond your expectations, opening doors to new opportunities and limitless potential. That’s because our professors will teach you how to think critically, be an engaged citizen, and discover who you are meant to be. Piedmont was founded on a commitment to the longstanding traditions of a liberal arts education, and we feel as passionately about that now as we did back in 1897. So, when you study at the College of Arts & Sciences, you become part of a long-standing tradition of excellence in liberal arts education.
We offer Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in the Arts, Humanities, Mass Communications, Mathematical Sciences, Music, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Theatre. The College also partners with local and community organizations to provide practicums, internships, and service-learning experience – so that our students not only obtain critical knowledge, but also see how to put that knowledge to practical and career use.
We also offer graduate degree programs in Professional Counseling and Forensic Science. The fully online Master of Arts in Professional Counseling program prepares students to become professional licensed counselors in the state of Georgia. Our Master of Science in Forensic Science program produces highly sought after candidates who go on to work in prestigious federal and state agencies.
