Professional Biography & Experience
Professor Ryder is a licensed attorney in Georgia and is currently working on finishing her dissertation. Her past experiences includes small business creation and structuring, residential and commercial real estate, banking, bankruptcy, estate, and family law. After twenty years as a sole practitioner, Mrs. Ryder’s focus is turned to continuing her academic career and completing her DBA in Global Studies.
Professor Ryder enjoys travel and has gone with her students to the Czech Republic, Germany, and Chile to study international business. She is the co-faculty advisor for Delta Mu Delta and has published in The Journal of International Management Studies. She has presented at the International Academy of Business and Economics and at the annual SACS/COCS conferences in Atlanta and Dallas. Outside of work, she supports the Jeannette Rankin Foundation, The Elaine Clark Center, and does pro bono legal work in North Georgia.
