Parton Me: A Tribute to Dolly with Katie Deal and Her Nashville Band

Springer Mountain Farms and Piedmont University are celebrating country music legend Dolly Parton with a concert featuring Georgia Country Music Hall-of-Fame member Katie Deal and her Nashville band! The outdoor show will include food trucks and alcohol vendors, so come hungry (and thirsty)!

Ticket Prices:

  • Covered stadium seating: $35
  • Uncovered stadium seating and lawn seats: $25

Schedule:

  • 4 p.m. Gates open so you can claim your spot in the Arrendale Amphitheatre, set up your camp chairs or stadium seats, and enjoy food and drink from area food trucks
  • 5 p.m. Katie Deal and her Nashville Band take the stage playing Dolly Parton’s favorite hit songs, including Jolene, Coat of Many Colors, 9 To 5, and many more. 

All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Arts fund, which helps provide Piedmont's fine arts students with a robust academic experience.

Event Details

  • The Arrendale Amphitheatre is an outdoor entertainment venue, so please bring lawn chairs/camp chairs/stadium seats and bug spray, and dress appropriately for the weather.
  • There are a limited number of seats available for those with mobility issues. Please be sure to purchase handicapped tickets if you have difficulty going up and down steps.
  • Food vendors will be available starting at 4 p.m. Outside food and alcohol are strictly prohibited.
  • In the event of rain, we will move the concert indoors to the Swanson Center Mainstage Theatre. Watch Piedmont’s social media for announcements about any location changes.
  • The concert will end by 7 p.m., so you can make it home to watch the 7:30 p.m. televised kick-off of the UGA vs Kentucky football game.
