Keith Nelms

Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Nelms worked as a systems consultant in an international consulting firm, a technical writer, a research engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, and a database administrator, programmer, and information & media systems manager at a state agency. In addition to his academic degrees, he has been a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia, a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma, and a Certified Economic Developer. Dr. Nelms has taught a variety of courses at Piedmont, including the freshman technology course, undergraduate and graduate management information systems courses, programming, database design, management, business communications, and statistics.
