Summer Orientation Day 3
Click here to register for Orientation!
We’re excited to welcome you to Summer Orientation, a full-day on-campus event designed for both parents and incoming students. This is a crucial step in your transition to Piedmont University, and we can’t wait to meet you!
Who Should Attend?
Summer Orientation is for all First-Time in College students attending Piedmont this fall. This includes students who may have earned credit hours through Dual Enrollment, AP exams, or CLEP exams, but are entering college for the first time outside of high school.
Phase A: Attend Orientation
As part of the M.A.N.E. New Student Experience, First-Time in College students will register for and attend one of our summer orientation sessions to complete Phase A of this exciting program.
The M.A.N.E. New Student Experience is a four-phase onboarding program designed to ensure your successful transition to Piedmont University. The phases are:
Phase M: Meet Your MANE Leader
Phase A: Attend Orientation
Phase N: Navigate the Guide to the Pride Online Canvas Course
Phase E: Enter Ready to Succeed
Please note, the phases do not need to be completed in order, so you can complete Phase N before Phase A, for example. All incoming degree-seeking students are expected to complete the M.A.N.E. experience prior to the start of their first term.
Cost: The cost for Summer Orientation is $50 per student, which covers 1 student and 1 guest meal ticket, an orientation t-shirt, the math placement test, and access to the Guide to the Pride Course.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Chelsea Wilkes, Director of Campus Experience & Operations, at cwilkes@piedmont.edu.
We look forward to seeing you at Summer Orientation and helping you become a part of the Piedmont family!
