Conveniently located on Prince Avenue near downtown Athens, Piedmont offers students small class sizes and personal attention from the faculty, as well as a vibrant, cultural life in one of Georgia's most historic and popular cities.
Piedmont in Athens offers degree-completion programs in a variety of career-oriented majors, as well as graduate programs in Education and Business, which are both evening programs. Our Nursing and Health Sciences graduates are highly sought after professionals who move quickly into the workplace. Many programs offer day courses, while Business and Education program courses are offered in the evening. This makes it easy for transfer students or working adults to attend and succeed. 30 transferable credits are required for all new students.

The Athens Campus has served more than 6,000 students since opening in 1996. The student/faculty ratio is 14 to 1, and most professors hold a doctorate or the terminal degree in their field.
