Degree Requirements
Students in the health care administration major must complete 121 hours of course work. This program is committed to the recruitment and retention with intent or graduating these students four years after program admission. Piedmont University will provide students the resources to achieve their academic goals in a timely fashion and meet learning outcomes expected in their degree programs. In addition to meeting all Piedmont University General Education and graduation requirements, all students must also earn a C or better in all prerequisite, supporting, and health care administration core courses to graduate.
Piedmont’s health care administration undergraduates will complete all but one of the prerequisite courses (BUSA 2140) to enter Piedmont’s MBA program or continue advanced studies in sports administration, coaching, and public health. So, earning your bachelor’s in health care will put you in a great position to start your MBA – which is advantageous for those wishing to make a career of health care administration.
