Teaching history to the next generation.
The Bachelor of Arts in History Education is a secondary education program addressing the continuing shortage of highly qualified teachers in Georgia.
Students anticipating a career teaching history in grades 6 – 12 may pursue either a) the program beginning in the freshman year leading toward certification at the T-4 (bachelor's) level or b) the Dual-Degree program leading toward certification at the T-5 (master's) level. Students may enter the T-4 program up to the first semester of the junior year. After that, the dual-degree program is the only option.
