Title IX Training

Below is information about the Title IX training offered to faculty, staff, and/or students as part of Title IX. Please note that all students, faculty, and staff also complete an online training every year through EverFi on topics of sexual assault prevention and Title IX.

Human Resources

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, and the federal regulations adopted under the act, prohibit sex discrimination in the employment setting. The regulations define sexual harassment in the workplace as a distinct type of employment discrimination on the basis of sex. In 1980, the Equal Opportunity Commission (EEOC) issued guidelines defining sexual harassment and stipulating that sexual harassment in the workplace is a violation of Title VII. Employee vs. employee complaints are handled by the Human Resources office via the provision of Title VII.
