Transcript Request

National Student Clearinghouse processes official transcripts for Piedmont University. Current students, former students, and alumnae will have 24/7 access to transcript ordering, electronic exchange with other participating colleges, automatic email confirmations, online order tracking and optional text message alerts.

Access Piedmont University Clearinghouse Official Transcript site. The online service will walk you through placing your order, including all delivery options. You may place orders to multiple recipients in a single session. On the Transcript Ordering Welcome page, step-by-step help is available at the bottom of the page “Transcript Ordering Help.”

Delivery Options

Electronic PDF – This is the preferred delivery method as orders are typically processed and delivered within 24 hours or less, assuming there are no holds on the account and the consent form has been signed. Electronic transcripts expire 30 days after the order is processed.

Note: Please verify with the receiving organization before requesting an electronic transcript. For requests being sent to institutions that do not accept National Student Clearinghouse electronic transcripts, the student will need to request a hardcopy to be sent via mail. Failure of the student to verify the acceptance of the National Student Clearinghouse electronic transcript will result in additional requests and payment by the student.

Consent to Release

Completing the “Consent to Release” form is required and must be returned to the National Student Clearinghouse before orders are processed and credit cards charged. This can be signed electronically, or by downloading the form, signing it and returning it to the National Student Clearinghouse.

Fees and Payment

Transcripts are $9.00 for electronic PDF and $10.15 for mailed. Additional copies and express mail options require additional fees. See online order form for more information. You can pay for your transcript order with any major credit or debit card. Your credit or debit card is not charged until we send your transcript(s). However, if you use a debit card, your bank may put a hold on your funds when we pre-authorize your payment. If you have questions on the pre-authorization, please contact your bank.

Order Status

Order updates will be sent to you via email and, if you choose, text messages. You can also track your transcript order online.

Unofficial Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts are not provided by Piedmont University. Current students may access a version of the unofficial transcript from the student Self-Service account. A copy of the student transcript may be requested through National Student Clearinghouse. Please see the information above regarding National Student Clearinghouse requests.
