Due to the severe winter weather in Northeast Georgia over the weekend, Piedmont University will suspend on-campus learning Tuesday, January 27 for the Demorest and Athens campuses. Online classes will also be suspended. Faculty will assign take-home work for students to complete.
While the Demorest and Athens campus remain physically closed staff should plan to work remotely. Campus Police, Residential Life, and Facilities will be on campus and available to serve students. Chartwells will maintain cafeteria operations on a modified schedule.
Stay tuned for further updates.
