Great Composers Concert
The Piedmont Chorale, Cherokee Bluff Middle School Chorus, Orchestra, and soloists perform Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, considered one of the most important masterworks of the 20th century. In this dramatic and expressive work, Orff sets texts of wandering medieval scholars with harmonic richness and rhythmic vitality.
