Graduation Information

A large group of graduates in caps and gowns stand during a graduation ceremony. Some wear honor cords or decorated caps, and faculty members in academic regalia are visible in the background.

Diploma Size

Undergraduate, Graduate level, and Education Specialist diplomas are 8 x 11.5 inches. Doctor of Education diplomas are 12 X 15 inches.

Graduation Attendance

In order to participate in the graduation ceremony, students must complete ALL coursework. All coursework includes any pending transient work and that must be transferred back to Piedmont (per official transcript) before graduation. Students with pending coursework or outstanding grades will not be permitted to participate.

Guest Attendance

The number of guests that attend graduation is dependent on the size of the graduating class, the number of RSVPed students, and the space available. Any student who RSVPs during the period will be given the same number of tickets if tickets are used. This information will be available following the close of the RSVP time period and will be posted on this site.

Graduation Pictures

There is a professional photographer at the ceremony who will take pictures of graduates receiving their diploma, walking across the stage, and a staged photo upon exiting the stage. Students will be sent information following the ceremony from the photographer on how to access pictures.

Transcripts

Transcripts showing posted degrees will be available the week following commencement. Graduates will receive an email confirming posted degrees are available on transcripts. Transcripts may be requested at link below.
