Professional Biography & Experience
Crowder's experience includes being a teacher of elementary gifted education and special education. She has extensive experience with differentiated instruction and collaborative instruction in the regular education classroom to support both struggling and advanced learners. Crowder has developed curricula for enrichment programs at the UGA Torrance Center for Creativity and collaborated in the creation of the UGA Talent Identification Program for elementary-age students. She has also developed and continue to lead workshops for K-12 teachers on infusing critical thinking and creativity in standards-based classrooms.
Crowder's research interests include creativity, differentiated instruction for high-ability learners, gifted education programming, curricula, and instruction, and program evaluation.
