Professional Biography & Experience

Professor
Anderson is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is
certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of
the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor
Society of Nursing.  She is a past
recipient of the Betty Burke Godfrey Award for Excellence in Adult Health
Nursing. Prior to joining the Piedmont faculty in 2011, she worked locally as
a Nurse Practitioner in an internal medicine practice.  She also taught Practical Nursing and
worked as a Registered Nurse in critical care and the emergency department.
