Kris McWhite received his MA and PhD from Clemson University in Economics and his teaching experience includes time at DePaul University in Chicago, Bridgewater State University in the Boston area and the University of Georgia. During that time he has taught a variety of courses in Urban Economics, Environmental Economics, Health Economics, and Sports Economics to name a few. At Piedmont, Kris teaches the core economics course and selected electives. His research interest include Sports Economics and the organizational structure of sports. In his free time Kris enjoys college sports, kayaking and international travel.
