Lifelong artists and longtime friends, Beason and Lawrence, make photograms based on a shared love of nature. They transform overlooked plants and other organic forms into hauntingly beautiful compositions. Their technique is inspired by their study of nineteenth-century processes used by inventor and photographic pioneer Henry Fox Talbot.
On display August 21 — November 6 at the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art. Reception on August 21 at 4:30 pm.
