The Great Composers Concert is a standout event that celebrates the timeless brilliance of classical music. We are proud to present this remarkable showcase of musical talent year after year and to share the beauty of these masterpieces with our students, faculty, and guests.
This year’s Great Composers Concert will feature the Piedmont University Chorale performing Lux Aeterna, a masterwork by the contemporary American composer Morten Lauridsen. The Piedmont University Singers will also perform a few selections by other contemporary composers. Both choral ensembles are directed by Bobby Ivey, Piedmont University Assistant Professor and Director of Choirs.
The Great Composers Concert will be performed on Saturday, April 25th, at 7:30 PM in the Piedmont University Chapel.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students. Ticket sales support our music students and allow us to continue to provide the community with exceptional musical performances.
