Financial Aid

Together, We Make It Work
Piedmont University believes that there is no reason why any student who qualifies should be denied a quality education because of financial concerns. That is why we work hard to help our students attain necessary funding to attend our institution – no matter the student’s situation.
Students who have been admitted to Piedmont may apply for various federal, state, and institutional grants and scholarships by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov. It is our goal to help you make it easy and receive the funds you need to meet your educational goals.
Piedmont’s Commitment to Aid
Did you know that 99% of full-time Piedmont University students receive some sort of financial aid? That’s not because of the cost of tuition – rather that Lions look out for each other, and we make sure that you will get the help you need to make your educational experience as easy as possible.

Different Routes to Aid
Complete a FAFSA for Aid
One route available for financial aid is through the Federal Government, via the FAFSA form. The FAFSA process typically opens each year on Oct. 1, and it is best to complete it as soon as possible for access to maximum aid. For 2024-2025, the FAFSA Application will have a delayed launch and will offer a soft launch during the month of January. This means that during this time, the website will be open and closed in short intervals to help ease traffic to the website and to help with any glitches that need to be addressed.
When you are ready to complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA for Fall 2024, make sure you add Piedmont’s FAFSA school code 001588 so that we receive the application when it is released to schools.
