Veterans Benefits – Transfer Students

Please review this important information for Transfer Students looking to apply for Veterans Benefits.

1.    Obtain a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE). This can be obtained online at va.gov or by contacting the VA directly. You will need to attach this letter to the Veterans Request for Certification form in the next step.

2.    Complete the Veteran Request for Certification Form

4.    After completing steps 1-2, you are now able to register for classes on the appropriate date. Once you register for classes, the school certifying official will be able to submit your precertification of enrollment (how many hours you are enrolled in) to the VA. Certifications are normally done 2-3 weeks prior to the start of the semester.
