Application Requirements
Apply to Piedmont
If you are interested in transferring to Piedmont University, get the process started today by completing our transfer application.
Submit Transcripts
After applying to Piedmont, continue the transfer process by submitting all official college transcripts to our admissions office. You should include ALL completed courses through the end of your current term.
NOTE: If you have earned fewer than 30 transferable college credits, you must also include your high school transcript. Send a copy of your final high school transcript or GED to our Admissions office that provides insight into your course work.
Submit SAT/ACT Scores (optional)
You may choose to include your SAT/ACT standardized test scores as part of your admission process. If you submit multiple test results, the admission committee will select the scores that offer you the greatest advantage in the admission review process. Test scores are not required if it has been more than five years since the test was taken. Providing SAT/ACT scores are optional.
Transfer Student Scholarships
Piedmont University offers merit-based scholarships to incoming transfer students, with awards determined at the time of acceptance. Scholarship eligibility is generally based on the college GPA from the most recently attended institution. Both residential and commuter students are considered for these scholarships.
Phi Theta Kappa‘s nonprofit mission is to recognize and promote student academic achievement. PTK provides opportunities to cultivate professional and leadership skills, secure scholarships, explore diverse career paths, and build a network of supportive peers and trusted advisors that last a lifetime.
Transfer Credits
If you have been accepted to Piedmont University as a transfer student, a transfer credit evaluation will be completed within 14–21 days after your acceptance. Our Transfer Equivalency Tool can be used to see what courses will transfer. Piedmont University will award credit for most courses taken at accredited institutions.
Transfer Equivalency Tool
For your convenience, Piedmont University provides a guide to understand your transfer credit equivalencies. Please understand that if a course/institution is not listed, it does not mean that we will not accept the credit. We evaluate transfer credit on an individual basis, and this site is constantly being updated. Piedmont University reserves the right to make changes at any time. Transfer evaluations are not official until reviewed by the registrar’s office.
Transfer Clearance
Any previous disciplinary action, charge or conviction while a student at another school does not automatically disqualify an applicant from enrollment at Piedmont University. However, all such occurrences will be reviewed. This review will be conducted independently of the evaluation of your academic eligibility for admission and will be shared only with undergraduate/graduate admissions or with other officials at Piedmont University who have a need to know as part of the review process.
