37th Annual Coach Cave Memorial Golf Tournament Raises Funds (and Fun) for Piedmont Athletics

Gorgeous clear skies and warm weather set the scene at tee time for the 37th Annual Coach Cave Memorial Golf Tournament, held September 2 at The Orchard Golf and Country Club.

The tournament saw teams from a variety of organizations compete and help raise funds for Piedmont University athletics. Highlights included a visit from Charity Golf Guns, who gave competitors the opportunity to fire their ball from a launcher, and golf Lions Erin Donovan and Doug Gugel taking opening shots for players. To conclude the day, John Krippner hosted a live auction while the competitors enjoyed a delicious barbecue meal prepared by The Orchard.

The day would not have been possible without the use of The Orchard’s beautiful facilities and golf course. Our sponsors, auction donors, auctioneer, volunteers, and competitors all played a critical role in the event’s success. We are so thankful for your participation and enthusiasm for Piedmont student athletes.
