2008 Events:

The First Annual Ornament Exchange and Reception. On December 6, 2008, Drs. Ray and Ashley Cleere hosted the first annual Christmas ornament exchange at their home on the Piedmont College Demorest campus. The college provided the place and the food; the Torch Sisters provided the fun and fellowship. This is a great way for long-time members to meet and interact with newer members and to share stories and memories of The Torch. We had a great turnout and plan to make this an annual tradition. It will be an easy transition from the get-together to the Lessons and Carols Saturday performance.
