Global Learning provides students with intentional opportunities to engage in mindful exploration of cross cultural differences to provide transformative experiences.
Students engaged in diversity studies are encouraged to mindfully explore the “difficult differences” among groups comprised of various races, ethnicities, religions, genders, and sexual identities; to confront inequality; and to acknowledge and navigate human rights issues both domestically and around the world.
Travel Study is a large part of the Global Learning High Impact Practice, but it's not the only part. While a good portion of Global Learning is done inside the classroom, Travel Study offers students real-life experience in cross-cultural differences. This includes Maymester and Study Abroad opportunities. Learn More about Travel Study
