Rogers serves as the college’s chief advancement officer and develops and directs annual and endowment support, planned giving, major gifts, and alumni relations. He also oversees Piedmont’s department of marketing and communications. A graduate of the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), Rogers earned a M.Ed from Averett University (Danville, Virginia). Before joining Piedmont in 2019, he served as chief development officer at Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, Virginia). Rogers, native of Charlottesville, Virginia, has also served in advancement leadership roles at Hampden-Sydney College (Hampden-Sydney, Virginia) and Longwood University (Farmville, Virginia). His wife, Denise, is a first grade teacher at Clarkesville Elementary. The couple’s two sons, Caleb and Conner, are Piedmont students.
