Music Education

The Bachelor of Arts in Music Education provides coursework and experiences leading to teacher certification in music, B-12.


Courses and program requirements include classroom instruction in music theory, music history, performance technique and pedagogy, and education methods, as well as opportunities for solo and ensemble performance experiences on and off campus. Students must gain admittance into the Piedmont College School of Education, pass appropriate GACE exams in order to be recommended for certification.
