Piedmont College Theatre Proudly Presents
William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale

Piedmont College Theatre is proud to announce its Spring production of "The Winter's Tale," Shakespeare's play of jealousy, loss, and redemption. Directed by Dr. Lance Miller, "The Winters Tale" is one of the Bard's later and more complex works.

It is the tragic story of King Leontes who is almost destroyed by his own passions, the comedy of the charming rogue Autolycus--whose tall tales have an honesty of their own-- the romance of Florizell and Perdita, and it is the magic of Hermione, whose miraculous reappearance signals the renewal of springtime.

Famous for one of its settings, "the coast of Bohemia"--Bohemia is a land-locked region--the tale told by "The Winter's Tale" is full of magic, disguise, song, dance, laughter, and all too human fears and desires.

Playing dates were April 9, 10, 16-17 at 8:00 p.m., and April 18 at 2:00.  Also, student matinees were performed on April 12-13 at 9:30 a.m..
