In Memory

Jeremy Garren

Jeremy was the kind of guy that everyone wanted to have as a friend.  He made the best out of every situation and he had fun doing it.  Jeremy always had a smile on his face.  If, for some reason, he didn't, it was because he was making a goofy face in order to make someone else smile.

I had the honor of being his accomplice for four years of high school.  We had homeroom together and everyday was a trip.  If one of us was running late, the other would do something to distract the teacher to keep from earning a tardy.  Once we graduated, Jeremy took a year off from school and I came to Piedmont.  On weekends, breaks, and that summer, we would see each other at Church.  No one could imagine my excitement when I learned that he had applied and been accepted at Piedmont.  When fall arrived and Jeremy moved into Purcell (Guy's Dorm), everyone knew him by name.  If he wasn't tag-team wrestling, he was playing golf or tackle football in the hallway, or even having gummy bear fights.

Jeremy loved absolutely every minute of life.  He lived it to the fullest and made everyone around him happy.  I, as well as others, miss him greatly.  But I live with the Promise of knowing that Jeremy is in Heaven watching over us.  I consider him, along with my Daddy, as being one of my Guardian Angels who watches out for me everyday.  I know that I'll see him again someday.  We all love him and miss his smiling face.

Angela Luzar

Angie was a good friend to many people at this school. She was a person who was always willing to sit down and listen to your problems. She always had time for her friends. She was also a person of strong will. Her friends always knew where they stood. She could be shy. She could be outspoken. She made an impression on everyone she met. She was in love. She was one of the kindest people I have ever met.
