Health Services
The college has an agreement with Habersham County Medical Center and a local physician to provide first-line health services at no additional cost to residential students. This agreement provides a sick student access to a physician or Nurse Practitioner at PrimeCare, a unit of Habersham County Medical Center. Cost of the initial doctor visit is covered, and additional expenses are applied toward the student’s personal insurance provider. Coverage also pays $85 toward emergency care and treatment, with the balance applied against student’s personal insurance provider. The agreement does not cover expenses related to hospital admission for alcohol or drug treatment.
