The same individual attention that applies to academics carries over to other campus activities at Piedmont. From the first day that you arrive on campus, you can become part of Piedmont's professional and honor societies, community service groups, and more than 35 clubs. No matter what your interest, there is probably an on-campus organization in which you can learn by being a part of a small group of like-minded individuals. And being involved in student organizations at Piedmont gives you the opportunity not only to participate, but to lead and make a difference.
Interested in the performing arts? Piedmont offers a number of creative outlets for singers, musicians and actors. All students can be part of the 100-voice Piedmont Chorale, which performs several concerts each year. The Chamber Singers, a 40-member ensemble of selected students, performs on campus each year and tours a different part of the U.S. If you play an instrument, you can become a part of the Wind Ensemble, which performs concerts and at special events throughout the year.
The Piedmont College Theatre and the Alpha Psi Omega theatre honor society perform a succession of plays each year from Shakespeare to children's theatre. You can try out for an on-stage role or be involved backstage in the creation of sets, lighting, music and costumes.
