INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY COURSES

• Introduction to Instructional Technology (3 hrs)
• Instructional Systems Design (3 hrs)
• Methods and Interpretation of Educational Research (3 hrs)
• Special Topics in Instructional Technology (3 hrs)
• Multimedia Development Authoring Tools (3 hrs)
• Advanced Multimedia Development Project (3 hrs)
• Instructional Technology Program Administration (3 hrs)
• Advanced Media and Technology for Educators ( 3 hrs)
• Distance Learning Design (3 hrs)
• Capstone (3 hrs)
• 12 required hours of advanced content courses and/or content pedagogy courses in certification field.

Additional Requirements:
A minimum of 100 field-experience hours are required

(This program does not lead to Georgia teacher advanced certification in Instructional Technology.)

This program is for non-teachers who may enter the program from various fields with the goal of working in Instruction Technology.

These opportunitis include careers in corporate, government, non-profit, and educational organizations as distance learning coordinators, instructional designers, professional e-learning designers, and other performance-improvement positions.
