This program is designed to facilitate career mobility for Licenced Practical Nurses (LPNs) to advance in their careers to become baccalaureate-prepared registered nurses (RNs).
The program provides a foundation in the liberal arts and the biological, social, and behavioral sciences. It includes a clinical practice component that gives students the opportunity to apply their nursing theory and skills in multiple health care settings. All students have the opportunity to work with underserved populations as a part of their clinical practice.
All required nursing courses must be completed within four years.
Graduates of the BSN program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Successful completion of this exam is required to practice as a professional registered nurse.
