Solar power topic of Piedmont seminar
The practical application of solar power in Georgia will be the topic of a talk at Piedmont College at 3 p.m., Aug. 26, in the Stewart Hall Auditorium. Admission is free and the public is invited.
Shane Owl-Greason, managing partner of Entegrity Solar, will discuss his company’s plans to build a 150-acre solar farm east of Atlanta.
The talk is the first in this year’s Natural Science Seminar Series to be held at the college in Demorest. Future talks will cover biophysics, ecology, and Antarctic marine life. The seminars are sponsored by the Department of Natural Sciences and the Piedmont Quality Enhancement Program
