The Parrotheads flocked to the Arrendale Amphitheater at Piedmont College July 22, when Jeff Pike and A1A brought their Jimmy Buffett tribute show to northeast Georgia for a romp in Margaritaville.

Back by popular demand, A1A pulled out all the stops for a highly energetic, colorful, family-friendly show featuring the music of the “son of a son of sailor” himself, Jimmy Buffett. Named for Florida’s most famous highway, A1A also treated fans to a variety of summertime hits from the Beach Boys and Van Morrison, some classic Reggae, as well as some original A1A Trop Rock music. All mixed together in one big Buffett-style Caribbean beach party!

A1A founder Jeff Pike of Atlanta has performed Jimmy Buffett hits since 1989, and in 1992 he and A1A won a Margaritaville Records sound-alike contest. The band has been on the road ever since showcasing a concert composed of Buffett’s music spanning every era of his career.
