Piedmont Theatre to perform Shakespeare’s 'The Tempest'

William Shakespeare’s play tells the story of a group of royalty returning home by boat after a wedding in Italy. The group is caught in a violent storm, and after everyone jumps overboard they wash up on an island inhabited by a magician, Prospero, his daughter, and some interesting creatures. Comedy, love, and tragedy are combined to create a memorable performance.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students and seniors. Piedmont faculty, staff, and students are admitted free. Call the box office at 706-778-3000 ext. 1355 for reservations.
