TEACHING
Dr. Vance is an Experimental Psychologist who primarily teaches courses related to research in psychology. These courses include Introduction to Research Methods and Statistics, Advanced Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, History and Systems, and Theories of Learning. Other courses taught by Dr. Vance include General Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Theories of Personality, and Social Psychology.

SERVICE
Dr. Vance is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Southeastern Psychological Association, the Society for Computers in Psychology, and the International Alliance of Teacher-Scholars.

LEADERSHIP
Dr. Vance serves as faculty adviser to Piedmont’s chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology. She also serves as faculty adviser to Piedmont’s chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta, the National Honor Society for First Year Students.
