Monica Ketchie, DNP, CNM, ANP-BC, MSN, RN
Professor Ketchie is responsible for teaching Health Assessment’s didactic and laboratory instruction at the junior level. She assists with clinical in the Women’s Health and Obstetric content as well as assisting with Medical-Surgical nursing courses.
Professor Ketchie is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Georgia chapter of Nurse Midwives.
As a nurse for over 27 years, Professor Ketchie has practiced in various settings with the last 25 years in Obstetric nursing. She is certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives Certification Council as a CNM, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Mrs. Ketchie has practiced full-scope midwifery for 18 years in Athens, GA.
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Connecticut, Master’s of Science in Nursing concentrating in Nurse Midwifery from East Carolina University, Post-Master’s Certification in Adult Health Nursing from Northern Kentucky University, and presently attending Georgia Health Science University working on her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
