Tabatha Anderson, MSN, RN, NP-C
Professor Anderson is responsible for the Adult Health Medical Surgical classes, lab, and clinical for the junior level. She was the 2013 recipient of the Vulcan Materials Company Teaching Excellence Award for her dedication and commitment to teaching. Professor Anderson is also a Registered Nurse and Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Professor Anderson is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor Society of Nursing. She is a past recipient of the Betty Burke Godfrey Award for Excellence in Adult Health Nursing.
Prior to joining the Piedmont faculty in 2011, she worked locally as a Nurse Practitioner in an internal medicine practice. She also taught Practical Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse in critical care and the emergency department.
