Antoinette Willsea, MSN, RN
Professor Willsea teaches didactic and clinical courses in adult health nursing for the generic BSN program, RN-BSN program and the Health Care Administration program. She teaches the advanced content for cardiac, pulmonary, burn care and neurology; as well as assisting in the various laboratory experiences. Professor Willsea won the Vulcan Materials Company Teaching Excellence award in 2011.
Professor Willsea holds membership in Sigma Theta Tau, International. She is an American Heart Association CPR instructor. She serves in various committees for the School of Nursing and Health Sciences as well as campus wide committees as assigned.
Professor Willsea has been nationally certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support for many years. She has experience in nursing management, emergency nursing, critical care and intensive care. She has managed a women's and children's unit, an oncology unit, and a cardiac step-down unit, as well as being a hospital supervisor for years.
