Dr. Davis is a member of the Faculty Senate, where he also serves on the Academic Integrity Committee, and faculty advisor for the Film Club.
Dr. Davis is the author of The Making of James Agee and the editor of The Works of James Agee, Volume 3: Let Us Now Praise Famous Men. His teaching and research interests include Modernist and avant-garde literature and art; Southern and Appalachian literature and culture; photography; film; the grotesque; documentary form and expression; and literary theory. He is also the faculty advisor for the Piedmont College Film Club.
