Piedmont College celebrated Commencement 2014 with three days of events and ceremonies at the campus in Demorest May 1–3.

On May 1 in the Swanson Center, Piedmont's Daniel School of Nursing presented pins to 38 graduating student nurses, and on May 2 in the Chapel, seniors gathered for a Baccalaureate service with guest speaker Dr. James Gertmenian, senior minister of Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis, Minn.

Following Baccalaureate, undergraduates and their families gathered on the Quad for an alfresco barbecue dinner. Also on Friday, at 7 p.m. in Brookside Dining Room, the Piedmont College Letter Club (P-Club) hosted an awards ceremony for all senior student-athletes.

On Saturday, May 3, the Commencement ceremony for all undergraduates began at 10 a.m. in the Mize Center with speaker Dr. Jamil Zainaldin, president of the Georgia Humanities Council. A separate Commencement ceremony for graduate students at 2 p.m. featured speaker Will Schofield, Superintendent of the Hall County School System.
