Alumni Association Committees

Listed below are the active committees for the Piedmont College Alumni Association. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  All members of the Alumni Board should be active members of at least one standing committee.  The sitting president is a member of all committees by virtue of the office.  The chairperson is responsible for making contact with their committee members and sending the report to Katie.

Alumni Weekend Committee - Charged with helping to create any new programming for Alumni Weekend, April 13-14, 2012
Chair- Doug Johnson

Awards Committee - Charged with reviewing the current alumni awards program, devising plans to increase nominations for consideration, and selecting annual alumni awards. Click here to see the different awards presented every year.

Budget Committee - Charged with producing budget for the Alumni Association.
Chair - Dock Sisk

By-Laws Committee – Charged with updating the by-laws of the alumni association as necessary.
Chair - Vann Brown

Golf Committee - Charged with organizing the annual Cave Golf Tournament, including development of the working committee of non board members, decisions on location, costs, prize acquisition and distribution.
Chair - Mike Santowski

Nominations Committee - Charged with recommending candidates for the Alumni Association Board of Directors.  
Chair - David Foster

Young Alumni Committee- Charged with creating programming that will encourage young alumni to participate in networking opportunities, building rapport with upperclassman of the college, and maintaining of young alumni connection with the college.
