Alumni Groups
The purposes of the Piedmont College Alumni Association include:
- Promotion of education
- Promotion of the interests and welfare of Piedmont College by organizing the entire body of graduates and former students of the College to keep them informed and encourage their support
- To take part in all worthy enterprises which have as their purpose the strengthening of Piedmont College.
The Alumni Association Board has many different committees to help with alumni relations and events. The committees are :Alumni Weekend Committee, Awards Committee, Budget Committee, By-Laws Committee, Golf Committee, Nominations Committee, and Young Alumni Committee. Members of the board are required to be active members on at least one committee and the president is required to be a member of all committees.
The Torch of Piedmont is the oldest active honor society at Piedmont College. There is information online about The Torch history, past and upcoming events, dues, and scholarships. Members can also pay their dues online.
The Piedmont College Letter Club, known as the "P" Club, was established in 1922 to recognize those athletes who had earned their letter in a varsity sport, with membership limited to those who had achieved that goal. Membership is now open to those who played a varsity sport, to those who were part of the cheerleading teams, and to those who wish to support athletics at Piedmont College.
