Music lessons for children and adults will continue this summer at the Piedmont College Community School of Music.
Registration will be held at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 25, in Brooks Hall at the college's Center for Worship and Music in Demorest. The Community School offers private lessons in piano, guitar, voice, woodwinds and brass.
The cost for the seven-week summer semester is $105, which includes seven half-hour private lessons per week. Students over the age of 10 may opt for seven one-hour private lessons at a cost of $210. The semester begins May 30 and will conclude with a Summer Recital and Noteworthy Award Presentations at 3 p.m., Saturday, July 15.
“The school is a fantastic way for children, adults and teachers of our community to take advantage of the talent and the facilities available at Piedmont College," said Community School director Melinda McClenahan.
