Steinhaus-Jordan to present concert Jan. 20 Photo right: (Jan. 16, 2007) Dr. Barbara Steinhaus-Jordan of the Piedmont College Department of Music will present a recital titled "Immortality of the Poet" at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 20, in the college's Center for Worship and Music in Demorest. Steinhaus-Jordan, soprano, will sing works by Johannes Brahms, Darius Milhoud, and Dominick Argento based on the "Song of Songs" and poems by Georgia Daumer and William Wordsworth. The concert also will include Donna Bunn James, alto; Micah Dingler, tenor; Jeremy Bishop, bass, Barbara Luhn, piano; and Miranda Dohrman, clarinet and bass clarinet. Speakers include professor of English Dr. Stephen Whited and Piedmont Chaplain Rev. Dr. Ashley Cleere.
