Written by Joseph Stein (Fiddler On The Roof) with music by Stephen Schwartz (Prince of Egypt, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame), this musical comedy, directed by Donna James, will take you on a journey of irony and humor as it examines human pettiness and the power of forgiveness.

The story takes place in Provincial France, where the bickering villagers of Concord eagerly await the arrival of their new baker, Amiable. Having been without bread for weeks, anticipation is high. Anticipation turns into astonishment when his beautiful, younger wife, Genevieve, is mistaken for his daughter. Already the object of gossip, the much-loved baker takes center stage when his wife runs off with the young, seductive Dominique.
