Piedmont Theatre to present 'Snow Queen'The Piedmont College Theatre will present "The Snow Queen" at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 18-21 in Jenkins Theater on the college campus in Demorest. A 2 p.m. matinee is scheduled for Feb. 22. The play by Ron Nicol is based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen in which Gerda searches for her friend, Kai, when he's kidnapped by the Snow Queen. With the help of a Crow and a Reindeer, she travels to the far North and confronts the Queen in her ice palace. The play is directed by Travis Smith.Tickets are $7 for adults and $2 for students.
