Piedmont Cantabile to sing April 27 (4-21-04) The Piedmont College Cantabile singers will hold an "Early Bird Concert" at 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 27, in the Brooks Recital Hall in the Center for Worship and Music in Demorest. The concert is free and everyone is invited. Directed by Dr. Wallace Hinson, Cantabile is a select group of singers that specializes in jazz, pop arrangements, and novelty songs, as well as secular and sacred chamber music from the Renaissance and early Baroque periods. The singers include Rebecca Barnes, Jeremy Bishop, Laurie Campbell, Misty Chandler, Billy Daniel, Micah Dingler, Bethany Fisher, Wallace Hinson, and Kim Wilson. -30- -30- |
