Student Moodle Guide

Online learning offers many advantages but you need to weigh all the possibilities to make sure they are the best solution for you. You must assess your technology experience and study habits as well as make sure your computer / device meets the system requirements.

We have created this Online Readiness Tool (online survey) to help rate yourself in each of the topic areas allowing you to make the right decision about enrolling in an online, hybrid or blended course.

A. System requirements

If you are NOT using a campus computer, we highly recommend that you perform a browser check before logging in to ensure your computer is ready to use Piedmont College - Moodle.

Minimum equipment and software requirements:

Any electronic device with speakers and headphones that supports current web browser, office suites and multimedia software (Flash Player, QuickTime, Java, etc.) with an adequate Internet connection.

Recommended current software:

Firefox, Flash Player, Quicktime and Acrobat Reader

B. Logging in

Go http://www.piedmont.edu/moodle
Click on the upper right corner to login

For the first time, username and password are the first part of your Piedmont email account.
