• The PC Debate Team won the 2005 Georgia State University Novice Debate Tourament.
• The Team also won Second Place overall in the Novice division at the Georgia State Tournament.
• The PC JuniorVarsity Team was Established.
• The PC JV team of Donald Bryson and Clark Williams won second place at the 2005 Appalachian State University Debate Tournament.
• Shelly Porter and Ruben Mendez received the fourth best Novice team award at the Southeast Regional Tournament.
• Shelly Porter was named the fifth best speaker award at the Southeast Regional Tournament.

• The PC Debate Team won the 2005 University of Miami Novice Debate Tournament.
• The PC Debate Team also won third place overall in the Novice Debate Tournament.
• The PC Debate Team won second place in the Novice division at the Vanderbilt University Tournament.
• The PC Debate Team attended the 2005 National/Junior Varsity Debate Tournament at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
• Angelina Dorman was named the Outstanding Novice Speaker of the Year at the Southeast Regional Debate Tournament.
